It was the. flashiest piece of work on George's. part during the match: Thye had i given a great exhibition of wrestling and more than held his own with the champion. Tho mlllage tax provides for more than four and half million of this total, while the next largest Item, totaling over one and tnree fourths million dollars, was received from student foes ond contributions to the five schools. Outside the legis lative appropriation, the third largest item received by the schools was for tho two larger collages of move than half a million dollars from federal funds for extension work. , DR. "How could you veto part of the appropriation without vetoing all of It, since It was not divided into sec tions," tho governor was asked. 'I did it anyhow," the paper quoted him. "It's only a 5 por cont cut.
