The association will again sponsor the book exchange ot Riveria school Monday and Tuesday, the first two days of school with Mrs. O. B. Maxam In charge. Parents and chil dren who have books to sell are asked to bring them Monday morning as the exchange will close at 1 :30 o'clock. Mrs. W. P. Ballard was chosen chairman of the finance committee; Mrs. R. E. McAnulty. of publications; and Mrs. O. B. Maxam, of publicity. Pioneer Daughters Are Entertained The first meeting of the Daughters of the Pioneers since its organization in June was held Thursday afternoon at the home of the president, Mrs. Julius Roesch.' Memories of former days were re called In the pleasant hours of con versation as they discussed the plans of the society. A business session wns held with Mrs. Roesch presiding. Diversity Club In Outdoor Meeting The last outdoor meeting of the Diversity club took place yesterday, when ten members met at Pine Cone for an all-day session with a picnic luncheon at noon.
