the month at Lane Chapel.
Plans for the coming year were dis
cussed and committee chairmen ap
pointed. The association will again
sponsor the book exchange ot Riveria
school Monday and Tuesday, the first
two days of school with Mrs. O. B.
Maxam In charge. Parents and chil
dren who have books to sell are asked
to bring them Monday morning as
the exchange will close at 1 :30 o'clock.

chairman of the finance committee;
Mrs. R. E. McAnulty. of publications;
and Mrs. O. B. Maxam, of publicity.
Pioneer Daughters
Are Entertained
The first meeting of the Daughters
of the Pioneers since its organization
in June was held Thursday afternoon
at the home of the president, Mrs.
Julius Roesch.'
Memories of former days were re
called In the pleasant hours of con
versation as they discussed the plans
of the society. A business session wns
held with Mrs. Roesch presiding.
Dainty refreshments were served at
the close of the meeting.

Honoring Mrs. Delia Harnden,
whose marriage,, to Forest H. Denson
took place early In the week, mem
bers of the Helomalo Bridge club met
Monday afternoon for a no-hostess
party at the home of Mrs. Denver
Charlton. Mrs. Denson Is moving to
Board man. The club presented her
with a pretty gift.

score. Mrs. Kate Hansen was a guest.

Outdoor Meeting
The last outdoor meeting of the
Diversity club took place yesterday,
when ten members met at Pine Cone
for an all-day session with a picnic
luncheon at noon.

i noon with Mrs. Claude Puckett and
Mrs. Delia Reese winning prizes, and
Mrs. Otis Huff receiving the atten-
j dance award. Mrs. Leo Hampton was

home near Garland. Utah.
