The ceremony was solemnized at 10 o'clock Thursday morning nt West minster chapel in Portland by Dr. Perry C. Hopper. Rainbow Assembly Is Making Plans The Order of Rainbow for g:rls at La Grande is nlready formulating plans for the state convention to be held here next year. A fund has been started to finance the convention and the first efforts to raise money will be in the form of candy sales. A special meeting was held last Saturday evening In the Masonic temple where arrangements for the candy sales were made and Misses Mary" Lou Piper and Pauline Conradv appointed chairman of two commit tees in charge. Party Compliments ' Mrs. Cora Shanks In compliment to Mrs. Cora Shanks a pretty handkerchief shower was clven to her at the bi-monthly social of the Women of Mooseheart legion last Friday.
