One-half teaspoon nutmeg. One-half teaspoon cinnamon, Ono teaspoon salt. Ono tenspoou toda. Two teaspoons cream tartar. Sift together all dry Ingredi ents. Add unbeaten egg, milk and melted fat. Heat vigorously. Roll out to about one-fourth inch thick (more flour may be added If needed). Cut into squares or rounds, l'lneo a cube of cranberry jelly on each square, placing another square on top. Moisten edges witli water und pinch together. Fry in deep fat. Drain on unglazed paper.
