Pierce's lovely afternoon at home- Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Pierce bad asked the members of the Cove. Women's c'.ub to be her gm-Hts on tliat after noon and 80 women from that vicinity drove ot the Pierce home. The afternoon was delightfully informal. Mrs. Pierce .showed her guests a great nniny of the beautiful things which she has gathered from the four cor ners of the earth, during her nu merous trips abroad.
