home- Tuesday afternoon. Mrs.
Pierce bad asked the members of
the Cove. Women's c'.ub to be her

women from that vicinity drove ot
the Pierce home. The afternoon
was delightfully informal. Mrs.
Pierce .showed her guests a great
nniny of the beautiful things which
she has gathered from the four cor
ners of the earth, during her nu
merous trips abroad. She gave
very raseiuating descriptions of the
articles themselves, of their use,
of the countries from which they
came, etc. The Cove ladles are
