finest detective stories and talking
pictures that has reached the

The Owen Davis stage play by

the screen version leaves nothing
to be desired. The mystery sur

1 tablespoon allspice, 1 tablespoon
salt.
Wash tomatoes and cut .out hard ,
spots. Put. through food -chopper
into n large crock, sprinkling 1 I
cup of salt through them. Let stand
three hours. Drain over night;

juice. Squeeze juice from lemons ,
nnd put rind through food chopper, i
Add juice, vinegar, lemon rind and I
suet lo tomatoes in preserving ket- j
tie. bring to the boiling point and
cook I 5 minutes. Add sugar, raisins j
and spices and bring ngaln to the ;
boiling point. Cook until thick nnd '
seal in sterilized Jars. When thfi ,
pies are linked, chopped.. apple can
bo added as liked.
