In addition to providing- tho oil and grease requiiemenls It Is un derstood that the Union will also furnish a portion of the gasoline needs at this plant. The lubricating oils and greases will be supplied from the Union's refinery at oleum, located on San i'ablo bay, a few miles from here, ad will be shipped In tank car lols to the plant of the automobile con cern,. . The Chevrolet factory at this point turns out each day approxi mately 4(H) cars, and each one as it leaves the plant will be lubricat ed with oils manufactured from western crude by Union Oil com pany of California. Many of these cats wilt also be powered by the popular Union non-detonating gas oline.
