Tlie problem and tho Importance of clean milk ,of milk with a low bacterial count anil tho status of Kastern Oregon milk was tlie subject of a short talk by Dr. W. T.-Phy when a program was held in the Hot Kako sanatorium aj seiubly recently. Dr. Phy told of the recent milk testing done in Kastern Oregon under the auspices of the state board of health nnd the Ameri can Child Health association. "The best test that Kastern Ore gon yielded was 'slightly dirty,'" said Dr. rny. "True, this was! the first district of tho stalo to be tested and the, men were so busy organizing and their time hero so short that they only test ed hiilk from very few dairies.
