Mrs. O'Brien, mother of the bride, was charming in a dress of cut velvet of ashes of roses. The feroom and his best mart were in Conventional evening dress. The Millre wedding party made a love ly picture and the pretty ceremony :was one that will long be remem bered. Audmcr Playle and Mal colm Holmes assisted tho grooms men as ushers. She is n graduate of -.he loral high school and attended tho University of Washington for one year. Mr. Gilbert, of tho firm of Westenhaver and Gilbert, is a suc cessful and popular young business man of La Grande and has gained many friends throughout the city since coming here to enter business a few years ago. He is a graduate of Stanford university and is a man bf frpcognly.ed ability nnd talent.
