SEATTLE, Wash. (AP). Mrs. Leona Hasser, for-,
merly a school teacher of Olympia, was burned to death ;
when fire destroyed her home here today. Her hus--band,
Joseph K. Hasser, had just left the home. 'He
returned and tried to save his wife, but was foiled by
stumbling, by . smoke and by her leg catching in the
doorway and an explosion of unused gasoline on the
