At the Presbyterian church last evening, .Miss Lucile Wolgamood, ilaughter of Mrs. I'. J. iftVlgoniOixl of Pendleton, became the biide of Cyril Proebstel, son of Mr.' G. W. l'rjelisiel of Weston- Rev. George L. Clark, pastor, officiated, using the r.ng ceremony. About forty-five guests were present. The church was effectively decorated in gladioli and greenery. The bride was lovely in a gown of Georgotte crepe of pastel blue over pale pink satin, worn with hat to match. She carried an arm bouquet of Ophelia roses. Miss Ruth Proeb Ktel, sister of the groom, wore a charming frock of pale yellow taf feta, with hat of Georgette. She earned a biuquct of iiweet peas. Francis Lieuallen, of Adams, was best man. Mrs. JIae Hager played the wedding march anil IMiss Lillian Culley, before the ceremony, sang nost pleasingly, "Oh Promise Me," and "All For You." Following the plighting of the mar riage vows a reception was held at the Wolgamood home. Mis- Wolga mood worn a gown of the ihlue canton crepe, anil Mrs. Proebstel, mother of the groom, wore black crepe back suum, ornainenieu wun norms. Sweet peas were used in the living room, and in Die dining room, where M'iss T.oui.-e O'Cor.nell, of La Grande nnd Mrs. Paul Massee presided, as ters were the decoration. - Among out-of-town guests for the wedding and reception were Mirs. Proahstel, .Mr. Lieuallen, Mis. O'Comiell, Mrs. G. 1L Kerr and Howard Kerr of La (Irande, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Castle man of Calgary Canada, 'Mirs. Gastle imm is Mr. Pinebstel's aunt. Following the reception, Mr. and Mrs. Proebstel left for Wallowa Lake. They will be at home ufter September 11 at the Wolgamood res idence, 812 Mill street. William Cros by Ross officiating, occurred the wedding of Miss Velma Fern Miller to Glen .luckson Pattoii, both of the Elgin district.
