the advancement of the brotherhond
of man, and to the extension of tho
Kingdom of Christ in the wild.
"The Congress first urges thr
members of the churches throughout
tho world to pray for peace, to
counterwork everything likely to pro
voke war, to foster kind weelings, to
cleanse ull the text books of ' all na
tions of all. racial and national an
tagonisms, to quench the worship of
military heroes, and to kindle ad
miration for nil who serve the world
in positive ways.
"The Congress welcomes tho form-
ation of a Lenguo of Nations and
the establishment' of an Internation
al Tribunul for the settlement of
disputes between nations; it ' urges
the churches to support the league
