denying that Montenegrins have re
volted against Serbian troops occupy
ing Montenegro. Jt was said thut
news received nt the legation only a
few days ago said perfect order pre
vailed throughout the little country.
The Montenegrin legation an
nounced Friday night tljat it had been
informed that some 0,000 insurgents
in Montenegro had revolted against
the Serbian forces and had succeeded
in occupying several towns.

Coos river rancher, for twelve and a
half acres of bottom land adjoining
his former holdings, Mr. Mahaffey

neighbor and in the deal twelve and a
half acres of the inchest land were fig
ured at $'i(J0 each. .
The pi ices of dairy land;) on Coos
river cannot be definitely averaged,
since none of the ranchers in late
i years have been disposed to sell and
no transfers have been recorded, ln
ithe past two years dairymen have re
ceived very high rates for their milk
land manufactured products and thus
i find no reason for selling their land.
