Sadie Dixon of the Oregon hotel on Depot street was also refused such a li cense and as a result La Crando will be short two rooming bouses from the total number. This action followed the passing of an ordinance licensing the busi ness of conducting a rooming house. Such an ordinance was found neces sary In order to get rid of a cer tain class of business that Is not considered desirable In any well re gulated community.
