La irande Yiilcanl.inff Co. Sells Out W. H. Iiohnenkamp Co. have just purchased the vulcanizing plant of tho La Grande Vulcanizing Co. nnd are busy moving it to their new line service station. Mr. Strong who has been running the plant will con tinue in charge of it. Considerable equipment will be added malting the plant one of the best in Eastern Ore gon. Send Him Cookies It was decided at the last meeting of the La Grande Hospital Unit Auxiliary to send each member of the unit a box of fruit cookies. Each mother will provide a box for her own boy and send them Monday or Tuesday. Boxes mu3t not weight over seven pounds. There are several boys who have no parents, and anyone wishing to prepare a box for one of these may do so. Names will be furnished upon application to Mrs. Fred Currey. Will Equip Kngines The O.-W. Rankin, the mechanical expert from the factory, who ha3 charge of all of the work between Seattle and Huntington, is now in La Grande moman relief fund.
