The merits being established, there I remains but the detail of how to get the money. Introducing Mr. Kiddle Senator E. E. Kiddle is the cam paign manager for the county. That In itself is a big jump toward a sue o.ssful drive. The executive commit tee of the Y. M. C. A. with George Palmer as chairman, is the executive committee of the drive for this coun ty and already have given much time to it. They are in the work with :i dash and a burst of enthusiasm that is bound to spread. Assistants to Mr. Kiddle are Fred J. Holmes, G. L. Larison, William all men of big affairs, who patriotically lea"e their own work for this and other great causes. Mrs. O. E. Silverthorn is assistant for the woman's -branch. In addition to these assistants, there are community managers working under the direction of the national, state and county forces. These in clude Sherwood Williams, Imbler; Frank Smith, Elgin; W. T. The following morning lnymen will take the pulpits of the county for four minutes and again drive homo the need of giving to the Y. M. C. A. for soldier boys at hotie and abroad. Through the kindly assistance of Mrs. A. E. Ivnnhoe, county superintendent of schools, every rurul school teacher in the county will the f- llowing morn ing devote four minutes of time to im pressing upon the pupils the tre mendous need of giving even a little 'mite to this great work; and will im press upon them the soldiers fight ing for us abroad must have Y.
