This done, and how matters are

success with Blanche Sweet and other
stars. Others in the cast are John
Burton, Chris Lynton, Jack Nelson
and Pauline Perry. The production
certainly is most artistic in every detail.

SCORES ANOTHER HIT
When George M. Cohan appeared in
his first Artcrnft picture, "Rroadway
Jones," recently, he scored what was
generally conceded to be the most im
mediately successful film debut ever
experienced by a populnr theatrical
star. His unique characteristics and
mannerisms yted themselves d-
mirably to the silent drama and that
lie is an ideal motion picture subject
was instantaneously established. Never
lcfere has a stage star stepped from
the theatre onto the screen with such
complete ease and success. In his sec
ond film for Artcraft,. "Seven Keys
to Rnldpate," coming to the Arcade
Theatie Monday and Tuesday, George
M. presents a picture that is more
Cohnnesipie by far than even "Broad
war Jones."
"In Slumberland," a Triangle-Kiddie
picture starring little Thelma Salter,
which will be presented at the Star
Treatre Saturday only, is said to
have the most amazing and intricate
setting effects ever photographed for
the screen.
The play depicts the adventures of
little Thelma and her playmate,
Cnsorgie Stone, as they journey
through the mysterious land of Nod,
where dance the elves and fairies
through great woods of majestic
splendor. Caverns of glittering crys
tal and luminous pearl, fountain show
ering diamond sprays, great castles
with jeweled windows all are a part
of the wonderland, which seems to be
created from the wand of a fairy.
While the picture is one that will
bring delight to the hearts of all chil
dren, it will also entertain adults, for
who does not enjoy the pranks iiui
antics of mischievous kiddies? The
story, by L. V. Jefferson, is woven
with thrills, whimsical humor and dcl
icate pathos. It is described as a
radiant fabric of fairy dreams.
Besides the tiny star, who did re
markable work in "The Crab" with
1'ranH Keenan and "Happiness' with
Enid Hennet, there are in the cast
Iaura Sears, Jack Livingston, J. P.
Locknoy and Walter Perry. Irvin Wil
lnt directed the production and is re
sponsible for the remarkable lighting
effects and the puzzling tricks of wizardry.
