OXNER'S NEW PAINT STORE Picked Up By The Stroller "THE AMERICANO" HAS FINE FAIRBANKS ROLE Douglas Fairbanks mukos his latest appearance as a Triangle star in the five reel drama '"The Americano," dramatized from the novel "Blaze Derringer," by Eugene P. Lyle, Jr. The play, which will be seen at the Arcade theater Wednesday and Thurs day, has to do with the adventures in a South American republic of a young American named 'Blaze Derringer, who goes to Paraxon La to represent American mining interests. He finds the country in a state of revolution, with its president and prime minster,, who have been friendly to his com pany, overthrown and in peril of their lives. Before his departure from New York Blaze has fallen violently in love with the beautiful daughter of the president, and ho finds her in dire peril of being married by force to an officer of the revolutionist army. Of course the quelling of a revolution and the restoration of order is a trifling task to a young man of Mr. Fair banks' intense nature, and the close of the picture see3 the villains prop erly foiled and the girl rescued. in order that she may wed the athletic hero. "The Americano" is said to furnish five recta of the most strenu ous activity thut Fairbanks has yet displayed and also to be ono of the best pictures, from a dramatic stand point, in which he has appeared. He is supported by Alma Ruebvn as the senorita, and other Triangle favorites having prominent roles in the cant are Spottiswoode Aitken, Carl Stockdale and Tom 'Wilson. Arcade Wednesday and Thursday.
