Fowler and Albert N. Krouse. A divorce suit has been filed by Anna Miller against Sam Miller, al leging desertion. The plaintiff asks for the custody of the two minor chil dren. The liquor applications the past week were quite numerous. Apparently the war scare has not hnstened any people in Union county to take out first or second papers as none appear lately on the records. LAST CHANCE BAR CLOSES The Last Chance Bar, F. T. Morss, barkeep, operated at the American Express company's local office yester day. Today "packages," "shipments" and other nom de plumes for the ob long delights pass into pre-bone-dry history. Yesterday was "the last chance." Search is being made for Captain Serge Ruperti of the Russian army, to answer his wife's suit for separa tion and ?000 alimony on the ground of cruelty.
