to take out first or second papers as
none appear lately on the records.

The Last Chance Bar, F. T. Morss,
barkeep, operated at the American
Express company's local office yester
day. Today "packages," "shipments"
and other nom de plumes for the ob
long delights pass into pre-bone-dry
history. Yesterday was "the last
chance."
Search is being made for Captain
Serge Ruperti of the Russian army,
to answer his wife's suit for separa
tion and ?000 alimony on the ground
of cruelty. He is thought to have fled
to Canada. Captain Ruperti is at
tached to the Russian munitions of
fice in Now York and has an income
of $18,000 a year, his wife says.
