Tomorrow Baker will have a chance to proclaim herself a strong contender for the Eastern Oregon championship when La Grande goes there for the unnual conflict between the two schools. Coach Nilos will take his team and substitutes to Baker on the early morning train and it is likely that numerous followers of the team will go over on the noon train. Although they have won no games, the La Grande players have no thought of going to Baker with any o,ther purpose than to fight to the last ditch. Wihen Har vard and Princeton bow their backs and start for each other tomorrow the three-cornered whirl for supremacy in the "big three" of the cast will be on its three-legged way. It will be the first tussle of the season amongst any of the three elevens which always are pointed to in arguments regarding the relative strength of eastern teams. Both teams have been rather weak on defense this year, but Harvard, through Percy Haughton's work, has come to the front in this department. Both are fairly strong on attack. Last year Princeton was beaten, 10 to fi, in a remarkably hard fought o-nmp. Yale will m ect Brown and Cornell will meet Michigan in the other im portant games of the east. Notice of Final Account.
