She is forced to work for him to repay this loss. How she discovers that he still has the pearls, and uses them to wreck him financially, at the same tim bringing wealth to her sweetheart, is brought about in an unusual and striking manner. Miss Ward has been surrounded by the Lasky company, with a cast of unusual excellence, including such well-known players as Jack Dean, Charles Clary, Paul Weigel and Jano Wolff. The production is lavish in its mag nificence and the audience will be giv en an opportunity to glimpse society art tableaux which are now so popu lar in fashionable circles. Mrs. P. O. Having established herself as one of the most versatile actresseB on the screen, Miss Fannie Ward, the beauti ful Lasky star, will be seen at the Ar cade today and tomorrow in the Jesse L. Lasky production of "Each Pearl a Tear," written especially for her by Beatrice C. DeMille and Leighton Os mun, from the story by E. L. Sheldon. It is a Paramount picture. For n number of years Miss Ward has been popular as a comedienne in the spoken drama. When the Lasky company induced her to join their coterie of stars, she was promised serious work, and this was given her in "The Cheat." In this sensational I'hotodrama, she scored the greatest success of her career, and this she re peated in "Tcnnesee'8 Pardner," in "For the Defense" and "The Gutter Magdalene," and it is said that "Each Pearl a Tear" is better than anything in which she has heretofore been seen. The story of "Each Pearl a Tear" (June Caprice Portrays Child of the I Fields in New Fox Picture. Once again June Caprice forges to the front in a picture of country life. Her newest film for William Fox, "Little Miss Happiness," overflows with the quaint humor and spirit of the fields, with the innocence of a lit tle girl who has passed her days among the daisieB.
