,' Ernest P. Ferney and Miss Ella M.
Nelson were quietly married Sunday
afternoon in St. Peter's church by the
Rev. U. H. Gibbs. The bride's brother,
Calvin Nelson, and her cousin, Miss
Ella Milligan, of Salt Lake, stood up
with them. The bride is a daughter
of Chris Nelson and the groom is a
rancher of Baker county. The young
couple left on the evening train for
their future home which will be on
a ranch a few miles east of Baker.
An auto load, including pricinpally
members of Henry Young's family,
went to Catherine creek Sunday to in.
vestigate reports of the big run of
salmon. While they were rewarded
with a six-pound fidh the report is
brought that the creak was lined
witfhi salmon hunters, principally in
autos, and the supply of salmon large
as it is supposed to be, is not more
than enough to go round.
