meeting in In Grande on the
dates of June 14th, 15th and
Kith. This association embraces
territory outside this valley, al
though carrying a name adopt
ed many years ago and sugges
tive of a restricted locality.
There will probably be a very
large attendance. Rev. Tichnor,
pastor of the First Baptist
church of this city, expects to
be able to announce the pro-
gram for the three days' ses
sions within a short time.

Tomorrow night at the Methodist
church Re Chas. A. Edwards will re
view the recent General Conference of
the Methodist chuivh at Saratoga
Springs, N. Y. The conference, rated
as the biggest, religious gathering in
the United States was closely watchod
by Mr, Edwards and he will be in po
sition to bring the sessions close to
La Gralnde in this review. He is
bubbling over with enthusiasm about
the affair and all interested in this
gathering will have it clearly describ
ed and many of the illuminating in
stances in it graphically told tomorrow
evening.
