A rather loose game resulted here yesterday u.it Bell finally won a game although his pitching has doserved to win right ulong. The Elgin batters behind him found Fosbury pretty regularly and the result was lopsided, being 11 to 2 in favor of Elgin. Jackson caught for Baker and Thonws for Elgin. Cove hung a defeat on the powerful Prairie City team which plays in La Grande tomorrow, at Cove yesterday afternoon, score four to three. Fos ter, Prairie's best bet, was chased by the Cove sluggers early in the game. Although Prairie City was going good, Cove was going better and the cherry nickers nulled a victory.
