The resignation followed a stormy session and stormy' scenes preceding the cabinet session, during which Pi ev ident .Wilson's rejoinder to Germany was discussed. Bryan disagreed with President Wilson and other mem bers of the cabinet as to the position the United States should take. , , A- .j. .f. .j. v .j. 4. .j. President Wilson late tonight announced the sec retary's resignation had been accepted. i Washington, June 8. At the conclusion of the cabinet meet ing today, President Wilson caused his secretary, Tumulty, to an nounce that the rejoinder to Germany is complete and that "it is probable and-hoped" that the note will go forward tomorrow. But the cabinet is not unanimous in approval of the communica tion. Secretary of State Bryan left the white house after the ministerial session,, determined to fight for modification of : the note up to the minute it is cabled to Berlin.
