Mills, Cornuco pia, and M C Moore, Vale, were in terested spectators of the Fair, We had - the pleasure of showing Con grcssman Nick Sinnott the sights of the Fair He is on his way home at The Dalles and stopped a few days to see the big show. He was pleased with the Oregon building and the showing that Eastern Oregon is making He characterized ; the Oregon Building as distinctive, substantial and unique. With him was his private secretary Edward Baldwin, who made the trip through the Panama Canal on the steamer Northern Pacific. C. N. Cranston of Pendleton arriv ed here yesterday and will relieve me of the duties here. Lee is the man that stood firmly for law enforcement at Huntington last year, which stand was probably the causo for the '"Shooting-up" of his church and later his heme. He still holds one of the bullets which he dug out of the church well. Mr. Lee is ait old sea captain, and a fighter. ; The men who hear him next Sunday wilt not be disappointed. . .
