Pythias band was the hit of th trip and Tipperary was the password. V'' Patlarch in Attendance. : Among the several very significant facts pertaining to the convention was the unique record of George Lindgren of the Elgin lodge. To the very month, he rounded out 45 year-? in Pythianism at the Enterprise con vention. He joined in 1870 at Har vard lodge, when the founder of the order, Justice H. -Rathbone, was- his rext-door business neighbor. :. Union was selected as the meeting place for the 1916 convention. ' It was a most successful event, suc cessful beyond expectations and ; irt the search for something new and yet interesting to entertain the guests with.
