Once again Batiste Robeno, the Ita lian who wore handcuffs for a year and a half until they grew into his f: h and who was picked up hore inly to oscapo in Walla Walla, is in thp custody of the officers. Word was received at the local sheriffs of fice today that Deputy Sheriff Sam Bryan of Walla Walla had appre- l.tnded him yesterday on 'the $najce river but that after capture, the man made another1 escape' and was only again recaptured after ' two mile chase which finally' ld over a steep Muff into a ravine.: Bryan. and Ned Patterson first caught the man near -Eureka and Al Pike started to drive them back.
