Hand Cuffed Man Recaptured.
. Once again Batiste Robeno, the Ita
lian who wore handcuffs for a year
and a half until they grew into his

thp custody of the officers. Word
was received at the local sheriffs of
fice today that Deputy Sheriff Sam
Bryan of Walla Walla had appre-

river but that after capture, the man

again recaptured after ' two mile
chase which finally' ld over a steep

Patterson first caught the man near -Eureka
