A special meeting of the directors of the Commercial c'ub has been called for next Tuesday evening to hear the report of the com mittee appointed to investigate the city manager plan of municipal gov ernment, which committee, consisting of Attorney A. A. Smith, chairman, Joseph Stoddard and Harry S. . Bow en, was named at the last meeting. The members of the committee havs not made known the n&ture of the report they will make, but if action i to be takan so that the question nay be brought before the voters this fall, there is ho time to be lost.
