Gray, a carpenter from the Arkansas valley in Colorado, who has been working on the new" 'building erected by Cock Brothers, was struck in the eye by a nail about two weeks ago and was forced to go to the hos pital at Baker for treatment After some delay the surgeon in charge de cided to remove' the eye-ball, which was done, and Mr. Gray has returned to Union.
