(Special) The George Palmer Lumber company is pushing Its road up Howard creek with a force of about 200 men. They have three miles of the road finished and are now establishing their main camp at the foot of Eustice canyon, about six miles from the mouth of Howard creek. They have also com pleted a wagon rod along the rail road track over which they will haul supplies. They will have enough tim; ber in this country to keep the mill at La Grande running from 15 to 20 years it is said. From this camp they will extend their road as the timber is needed and perhaps eventually will build into the Promise and Grossman Home Seekers Attention If you want a farm 1 have it.
