Elisha E. Edwards, now a resident
of Sunny side, Utah, is here the guest
of his daughter, Mrs. John Bennett on

years ago. For several years he was
a resident of this city and was inter
ested in threshing. After, visiting
here a short time, he will go to Wal
la Walla to visit another daughter
for a week and will then come back to

Spanish War Veterans to Amalgamate,
Denver, Colo., Aug. 18. Amalgama

ed their annual reunions. Five hun-
dred members of the organizations

country and the veterans of the for
eign service is composed of soldiers
who saw service in any foreign coun
try, principally .Cuba and Porto Rico.
The reunions will close Wednesday
with the election of officers.
