NOTICE. NOTICE of th recorder of the eity of Lb Grande, Oregon, of the re . asssssroent of improvement district No. 2? of the city of La Grande. Oreiron. NOTICE is hereby given that the re-assessment for the improvement of North Second street, being improvement district No. 27 of the city of La Grande, Oregon, under the provision of Ordinance No. 729, series 1913, "An ordinance decaring the cost of improving North Second street from the north line of W avenue to the center line of Lake avenue; .determining the property benefited thereby, levying a re-assessment thereon to defray the cost and expense of said improvement providing for the assessment roll of the same and directing the entry of said re-assessment in the docket of city liens; providing a .time when the same shall become delinquent and re quiring the city recorder to prepare a special assessment roll in accord ance with the re-assessment herein levied and to collect said re-assessment, the same being in improvement district No. 27, in said eity of La Grande, Oregoe," is now in my hands for collection and that the same may be paid to me at any time within ten (10) days, from the 30th day of July, 1913, without penalty, interest or cost; and each property owner is hereby notified that on application to the undersigned within ten (10) days from the 30th day of July, 1913, which is the first date of publication of this notice, they will be allowed to pay such assessment in ten (10) annual in stallments,' the first installment thereof being due and payable on or be fore the 30th day of July, 1914. If application is not made as above speci fied, the whole amount will be and become due, payable and delinquent on the 11th day of August, 1913. ', , ' . The assessment roll is as follow; ' ! ' .
