(Special) Wild hay harvesting is in full tilt now while a few have finished and it seems as thoug-.i crops never were much better. Huckleberries in this vicinity are pl"tif ul but not very ripe yet The new railroad from the planer at Lone Tree station to the saw mill is not completed yet, but they have been hauling two carloads of lumber a day and some tunes making two round trips. The lumber is be ing handled by train from the Rob ertson saw mill and loaded on the cars. The Indians have returned to their home near Pendleton after two days' hard work- digging camus. They said that the camus was small and quite scarce in the places where they dug, Ladd Canyon was completely lighted by the illumination of the Palmer lum ber company fire Sunday night, a dis tance of six miles. Many from here drove in town to have a closer view of the conflagration. Miss Ruth Peebler and little sister, Marjorie, have gone to Enterprise to visit their sister, Mrs. Chas. Dougherty.
