All b'oled cherries are preserved in a solution of sulphuric acid, lime and water, and are afterwards con verted into the fancy Maraschino cherry, used in lemonades, cocktails and on candies. The story of this cherry is exceed ingly interesting, and involves many hands and much money. The solution robs the cherry of its color and makes it white, the Ma'rischino process re stores the color.
