V A quiet wedding took place at the home of George Hillman, 1412 0 ave nue, on July 26, when Mrs. Gertrude Parker, the proprietress of the home restaurant and George S. McVey, a popular railroad man of this city were united in marriage. Justice of the Peace Arthur Williams officiated. The immediate friends and relatives of the couple witnessed the ceremony. The Hillman home was beautifully decorated with roses and sweet peas. The color scheme of pink and white, being carried out in the refreshments also.
