Dispatches frotn Durango say that forty women were captured in that city, last week and committed suicide to escape from the indignitaries to which they. Were subjected by the rebel .troops. San Francisco, July 1. -The suspen sion of four more police officers Who are charged by bunco men with re ceiving hush money, was announced today by the police commissioner. The men involved are Patrolman ' Louis Balletto, Jack Gleason, Detectives Ed Mills and Charles Brown. The com mission took action as a result of the assertions made by Michael Gallo, and Carlo Cardano two convicted bunco men, who assert that they paid them money on numerous occasions. .
