Friday morning from his home in
Vancouver, Wash., where he has been

Eugene Niles, brother to "Tubby"

morning from Oregon City. He has
played ball for a number of years,

well attejided meeting of enthusiastic
baseball fans at the Commercial club
parlors last evening a permanent or
ganization, to be known as the Baker
Baseball Booster Club, was perfected
with E. G. Dedrick, at the head. The
prime object of the club is to further
the Interests of the Miners 'through
the coming season: and endeavor at
all times to keep up enthusiasm, se
curing good attendance at all home
games and to promote any and all
stunts deemed advisable to boost the
fortunes of the aggregation repre
senting this city In tBe Western Trl
state league.
. "While the meeting last evening was
only in the nature of a preliminary
session, still some good plans were
brought forward by ; different ones
present. The .most important . busi
ness transacted was the appointment
of a committee of six to take charge
of arranging a smoker and booster
meeting to be held at the Commercial
club with Friday evening, April 4.
