As a result of the widespread frost
in tlie citrus growing section of the
United State the pr!oj . of oranges
and lemons and grape fruit will be
high throughout the year In La Grande
and other northwest points. The crop
Is Just being harvested and packers
have glveu out the word that they
will iot accept any fruit damaged by
the frost. This Is going to put a pre
mium on the golden fruit and he sup
ply from Florida and the Antllle will
not be sufficient to supply the di,nand.
