Guy Coffman of l"n Ion was brought to the hospital last night suffering from a serious rase of appemlicit's. 'Mrs. Crowe un derwent a major operation for a ser ious complication. X. N. Sterling mid Mrs. George Chadwick likewise underwent major operations. Miss Walker, superintendent of the hospital, reports all of the wards fil led this morning, and the need of a new wing added to the hospital is apparent. Seven young women are In the nurses' training school prepar ing themselves for one of the noblest professions open to women.
