Hospital Filled and Surgeon Kept

last night suffering from a serious

underwent major operations.
Miss Walker, superintendent of the
hospital, reports all of the wards fil
led this morning, and the need of a
new wing added to the hospital is
apparent. Seven young women are

ing themselves for one of the noblest
professions open to women. It will
be but a short time when the present
facilities will have to be increased.

becomes wedded to a federal position
by reason of his position. ,
The successor to Colon R. Eber-
hard's position In the United States
land office Is concededly a Democratic
plum and at this time no active spar-
ring Is In progress between Republi
cans and Democrats the Inter-party
tug of war Is for the postmastershln,
which unlike the receivership, may
not be made nil by the proposed amal.
