Cove, June 28. (Special) Between

of cherries soon to ripen In this com
munity. The annual picnic as the
cherry picker And the task to be us
ually, may commence about July 15,
though the proposition Is Indefinite. In
fact, the entire cherry picking feature
and cherry fair event depends much
on the weather between now and then.
To ail appearances the fair will be
called for some day between the 15th
and 20th of July, and publicity will be
given it over the entire country as
soon as It can be learned when the
cherr es will ripen. A few of the ear
ly cherry orchards will commence to
turn out crops July 6th or 6th but the
main commercial types will be about
two weeks later than the early ones,,
The small berry crop will eoon be ex
bausted.
Some of the critics predicted the
first of the season that the Cincinnati
Reds would curl up and wither about
July 4, and Hank O'Day.wlll have to
keep his hired men on their toes or
the critics will win.
