Piatt Jones the chautauqua plat form manager came Into the Obsehver after a trip to Riverside park where the chautauqua is to be held and to hear him pralce the park after know ing so much or other chautauquas in the east Increases our pride in what we have advocated as a great benefit to our city and to Mrs. Bobn enkamp and the park ladies in being so farslghted as to its value. Mr. Jones went on to say that he went to the park expecting the distance was great and to fiud it only a short mile It was only good exercise. So many chautauquas in the east are five and six miles from the city and are a de cided success.
