Scollard, the president of the La Grande Development company which owns and Is developing the Con nordale addition has left for the east on a hurried business trip to London, England. Mr. Scollard's many inter ests In the Canadian northwest have demanded so much of bis time and at tention during the past few months that his trips to La Grande have been few and far between. ' ' ' : Mr. Fender, the secretary-treasurer of the company will divide his time between the main office of the com pany on the ground floor of the Rail way exchange building In Portland and La Grande Mr. C. B.
