The Isis theatre is to be supplanted
with the splendid 'new picture house
known as "Sherry's." The process of
moving all paraphernalia and equip
ment is now going on and hereafter
instead of lights beaming from every
corner of the Depot street show house
those. Bame lights, accompanied : by
many others will shine from the Ed
O'Brien building, 'which has been fit
ted and Improved for B. M. Sherwood
the popular proprietor of the Isis.,

name of the theatre," said Mr. Sher
wood to an Observer reporter today
"As you know, I, am moving into the
building that has been reconstructed
for my business and henceforth the
show house will be known as 'Sher
ry's.' , You see, it's like this, every
man's business is his pride as It
Bhould be. With me the moving pic
ture business Is my study, my Indus.
try, my business. Everyone calls me
Sherry and and so I have made a long
story short and will call the new play
house just plain 'Sherr's.' l am cer
tain I will have one of the best pic
ture theatres In the whole, interior
country and my aim Jn .fitting the
O'Brien building up. as I have has
been to give La Grande people the
very best for they are entitled to it."
