V The annual social day of the Neigh hood club was held In a most charm ing manner at the elegant home of Mrs. Fred Holmes on Tuesday, April 2. The afternoon was dispensed with de lightful music rendered by Mesdamcs Corbett, Scroggin, McGuire, Berry and Miss Young. Mrs. A. T. Hill entertain ed them with a. reading. - The committee for the day were de lightful hostesses and club members and guests considered this a very special .treat. The color scheme of whate and yellow was artistically carried out in both decorations and in the menu. The Knights of the Single Life, a dancing club of young men of the city at various times right royal hosts to their many friends this winter, will give another party next Wednesday evening at the Elks' hall. Two or three dancing parties have been ar ranged during the past winter, and tha Knights promise a royal time for the midweek affair. Several young men of the city are planning on a unique party April is at Honan hall, and the keynote of the evening will be unique "Btunts" bound to etertaln. The New Idea club met with Mrs. Ben Noyes Wednesday. j The Elks will give their first post lenten dancing party next 'Monday evening. Luclan Robinson were delightfully en tertained last Friday afternoon, the occasion being in honor of Luclan's ninth birthdey anniversary.
